Chiyoko Sugimura is a Private Banker and Corporate Advisor with more than 25 years of experience guiding families and businesses through complex financial, strategic, and crossborder decisions. Her background spans corporate banking, private banking, and international advisory, allowing her to support clients with both precision and a grounded, longterm perspective.
Chiyoko spent over two decades as a Corporate Banker at a major U.S. financial institution, advising executives, business owners, and multinational organizations. Her expertise includes financial structuring, credit strategy, operational problemsolving, and crossborder coordination for Japanese and international companies.
Through JTS Twins Capital Inc., she now provides private banking services and strategic advisory to highnetworth families, business leaders, and established Japanese companies seeking clarity, stability, and trusted guidance. She works closely with a longstanding network of attorneys, CPAs, real estate professionals, and immigration specialists—relationships built over many years of collaboration.
Since 2018, Chiyoko has served as a Japan Alliance Advisory Board Member for the Hawaii Tax Institute (HTI), one of the leading U.S. conferences on international tax, wealth, and estate planning. Beginning in 2019, she has been invited annually as a featured speaker, presenting on crossborder wealth, banking, and strategic advisory topics to global tax, legal, and financial professionals.
